Company-owned plant
Rotating laser system
Setting and checking levels for foundations, drainage falls, slabs, hardstanding and retaining structures.
What it is
A rotating laser and receiver used to establish and check levels across a site.
This is levelling equipment. It is not survey-grade GPS setting out — where that is required, SHS arranges an independent specialist.
How SHS uses it
Setting formation and foundation levels before concrete.
Checking drainage falls run in the right direction at the right gradient.
Confirming slab, hardstanding and retaining wall levels as work proceeds.
Typical applications
- Foundation and formation levels
- Drainage gradients
- Slabs and hardstanding
- Retaining structures
- Yard and access falls
